In 2025, the Center for Education Accreditation – VNU-HCM (VNU-HCM CEA) participated in the international research project on “Survey on Student Learning Outcomes and Satisfaction in Taiwan – Japan – Thailand – Mongolia – Vietnam.” The project was chaired by TWAEA (Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association), in coordination with other prestigious education accreditation organizations: JUAA (Japan University Accreditation Association – Japan), ONESQA (Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment – Thailand), MNCEA (Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation – Mongolia) and VNU-HCM CEA (Vietnam).
The 2025 survey recorded a large scale with 86,260 students from 325 higher education institutions belonging to the 5 participating countries. Particularly in Vietnam, there were 22,180 responses from 32 higher education institutions, making Vietnam the country with the second-highest number of participating students in the entire project.

In this project, VNU-HCM CEA played the role of the focal point for coordinating implementation in Vietnam; specifically, CEA VNU-HCM contributed to finalizing the questionnaire to ensure alignment with the domestic context and international standardization. VNU-HCM CEA also proactively connected with educational institutions in implementing survey data collection at each unit. After the survey concluded, VNU-HCM CEA received reports from international partners and transferred the results to the participating educational institutions, supporting the units in utilizing data for the task of improving training quality.
The survey results provided key data on learning outcomes and learner satisfaction, thereby supporting educational institutions in objectively and effectively evaluating teaching, management, and learner support activities. On that basis, Vietnamese higher education institutions can promote benchmarking, identify strengths and weaknesses, and determine appropriate directions for improvement, thereby effectively serving the work of strategic planning and education quality assurance in the context of international integration.
