On November 11, 2024, , the VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-HCM CEA) organized an internship program for students of the professional training program for accreditors, K2024 – Batch 3 and 4 (2nd session), at Saigon University (273 An Duong Vuong). The aim of this activity was to enhance students’ knowledge and skills by providing them with the opportunity to observe the opening session and interview process of the quality accreditation activities taking place at the university.
This internship not only helped students reinforce the knowledge gained during the course but also offered them a valuable chance to directly observe the opening session of an official survey program. Lecturers and students were able to understand the necessary preparations for such an event, gaining insights and experience that they can apply when preparing for similar activities at their own institutions.
Furthermore, as observers of the interview session, students were able to learn firsthand from the methods used by experienced experts on the evaluation team. This allowed them to compare theoretical knowledge with real-life situations and learn how to effectively handle various challenges. The internship also aimed to develop the professional skills of those working in educational quality accreditation, promoting greater autonomy in conducting quality assurance tasks, including self-assessment and external evaluation.
The internship was successful, conducted in a focused learning environment, and received enthusiastic support from the host institution. It concluded in the afternoon of the same day.
