From November 11th to November 14th, 2024 the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (CEA-HCM) in collaboration with Saigon University organized an official visit for 05 bachelor’s programs (History and Geography Teacher Education, History Teacher Education, English Teacher Education, Natural Science Teacher Education, Primary Education) and 01 master’s program (Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law).
During the site visit, the Assessment Team conducted activities, including studying evidence-based documents, conducting interviews, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and inspecting the facilities of the institution that serve the programs.
The closing ceremony, held in the afternoon of November 14, 2024, the representative of the Assessment Team presented a summary report on the survey results of 06 programs of Saigon University. In addition to recognizing the strengths, the Assessment Team also made recommendations to help the University develop a plan to improve and enhance the quality of training in the coming time, in order to better ensure the rights of learners.
On behalf of the institution, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Chi Lan – Vice President, expressed sincere gratitude to the Assessment Team. She also pledged to work closely with relevant departments to develop and implement a plan to address the limitations and shortcomings, striving to enhance the quality of the programs.
Representing the Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Ngọc Quỳnh Lam – Director of the Center, extended her gratitude to the leadership of the institution, the departments, and units related to the evaluated programs, as well as individuals who had collaborated effectively during the official site visit.
At the end of the closing session, representatives of the Assessment Team, the Center and Saigon University signed the Minutes of Completion of the official site visit in the presence of the Assessment Team experts and leaders of departments, lecturers and students of the faculties/departments whose training programs were evaluated.
