On May 20th, 2026, the Assessment Team from VNU – HCM Center for Education Accreditation conducted a preliminary site visit for 03 master programs in Automobile Technology, Finance and Banking and Animal Husbandry at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) in accordance with the program accreditation standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training under Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT. These are among the first master’s degree programs to undergo external assessment under Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT.
As part of the preliminary site visit, the Assessment Team reviewed the self-assessment reports and examined the supporting evidence system of the academic programs. They also conducted an on-site inspection of facilities supporting teaching, research, and learner services, including classrooms, lecture halls, libraries, information technology infrastructure systems, and other supporting facilities. In addition, they inspected the working room for the Assessment Team and interview rooms to ensure adequate preparation for the official site visit.
Furthermore, the Assessment Team held a working session with the University’s leadership and representatives of relevant units to discuss and reach agreement on the implementation contents for the official site visit. The parties discussed and agreed upon the official assessment schedule, the list of additional supporting documents and evidence required, the composition of interview participants, and the units to be inspected during the official site visit.
At the conclusion of the preliminary site visit, representatives of the Center, the Assessment Team, and the University signed the memorandum of understanding for the preliminary survey, agreeing on the working principles and the implementation plan for the official site visit in accordance with the current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
