On the morning of August 15, 2024, VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture to organize the opening of a training course on quality assessment of educational institutions.
Attending the opening ceremony, on the side of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, there was the presence of Dr. Le Thi Thanh Thuy – Vice Principal, leaders of Faculties, Functional Departments and more than 30 teachers who are current managers, lecturers and specialists of the University. On the side of the Center, there was the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Director of the Center and one of the reporters of the training course.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam expressed her gratitude to the Board of Directors and teachers for trusting and choosing the Center to accompany the organization of ther training course. Representing the Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam also hopes that the training course will provide useful information and knowledge to help teachers feel confident in implementing self-assessment of educational institutions and further prepare for participating in the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment in 2025.

On behalf of the university, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Thuy expressed that the university pays great attention to educational quality assessment activities, especially since 2025 is the milestone for the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment and marks the 50th anniversary of the university’s founding. In the context of increasingly higher demands on training quality and new regulations for educational institutions (such as Circular 01/2024/TT-BGDDT), training the university’s teachers to have more knowledge, skills and experience in the field of quality assurance and quality assessment is important and necessary.

Dr.Le Thi Thanh Thuy also expressed her gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam as well as the reporters of the training course for spending time and dedication to support the university in quality assurance activity. At the same time, the Vice Principal also expressed her hope that teachers participating in the training course will be able to learn more useful knowledge and information to serve their professional work and participate in the university’s common activities.




The training course will take place over 3 days from August 15 to 17, 2024 with many contents revolving around quality assurance activities and quality assessment of educational institutions according to the provisions of Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDDT.
