Overview of the development program
The accreditor professional development program for Higher Education and Pedagogical College at VNU – HCM Center for Education Accreditation is developed and implemented based on the framework for accreditor training programs issued under Circular No. 14/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated October 10th, 2022, by the Minister of Education and Training regulating accreditor for higher education and pedagogical college.
The program aims to provide trainee knowledge of quality accreditation and educational accreditation both domestically and internationally through learning activities, field visits, and practical internships. Additionally, the program helps trainees improve the necessary skills of an accreditor through classroom exercises, practical assignments, real-world visits, and specialized internships related to quality accreditation and educational accreditation activities. Moreover, the program aims to enhance the capacity for quality accreditation and educational accreditation, as well as the management and development of higher education institutions, for leaders and managers of educational institutions.
The training program is credit-based, consisting of 4 courses equivalent to 10 credits, and is delivered through a combination of offline and online classes.
The mentoring team consists of experienced accreditors who are proficient in quality accreditation and educational accreditation, possess teaching experience, have conducted accreditor training, and have directly participated in external evaluations of educational institutions and programs.
The object of the training program includes managerial servant, lecturers, specialists/staffs working in the field of higher education and pedagogical college, and individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional competence in quality accreditation and educational accreditation, holding a master’s degree or equivalent.

(*) One credit is equivalent to 50 hours of the learner’s standard study time, including time spent attending lectures, guided study hours, self-study, research, experience, and taking tests and assessments; For classroom teaching activities, one credit requires a minimum of 15 hours of lecture or 30 hours of practice, experimentation, and discussion, of which one hour of class is counted as 50 minutes..

3. Participant and eligibility
Individuals holding a master’s degree or equivalent, including managerial staff, lecturers, specialists/employees working in the field of higher education and pedagogical college, and individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional competence in quality accreditation and educational accreditation in higher education and pedagogical college.
4.Training process and certification
The training program is organized in accordance with Circular No. 14/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated October 10, 2022, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, which regulates the training program for accreditor of higher education and college. The program is also governed by the training program for accreditor of higher education and pedagogical college issued by the director of VNU – HCM Center for Education Accreditation
5. The participation fee for the accreditor professional development program
Tuition fee is 11,000,000 VND/student for the entire training program.

4. Subjects and conditions of participation
- People with a master’s degree or equivalent or higher are managers, lecturers, specialists/employees operating in the field of higher education and pedagogical colleges, individuals who need to be trained in knowledge, skills and professional quality assurance and accreditation of university and pedagogical college education.
5. Training and certification process
- The organization of training is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Circular 14/2022/TT-BGDDT dated October 10, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Professional Training Program for University and College Education Accreditors Pedagogy and the Professional Training Program for accreditors of higher education and pedagogical colleges were issued by the Director of the Center for Educational Accreditation, National University-HCM.
6. Tuition to participate in the auditor professional training program Tuition is 10,800,000 VND/student.
