Regulation for Accreditor Professional Development

VNU – HCM Center for Education Accreditation has issued the Regulations on training for accreditor of higher education and pedagogical college, attached to Decision No. 76/QD-TTKD dated May 22nd, 2023.

Rights and responsibilities of involved groups(excerpted from the accreditor professional training Regulation)

Rights of Trainee:

  1. Be provided with information about the program, content, learning methods, and assessment.
  2. Receive the benefits and policies related to trainee as per the current regulations of the State and the Center (if any).
  3. Take leave from training with valid reasons (must submit a leave application and obtain approval from the Center).
  4. Retain study results as per the Center’s regulations.
  5. In case of being ineligible for final assessment, to have the option reviewed by the Center’s Director to reserve the training fee for makeup classes in the next course
  6. Give opinions to the Center regarding content, curriculum, teaching methods, and class management; to propose desires or complaints to the Center to resolve issues related to the legitimate rights and interests of trainees.
  7. Be issued a certificate of completion of the training program when meeting the specified conditions.

Responsibilities of Trainee:

  1. Adhere to these regulations and the regulations of the training course.
  2. Pay tuition fees as per the content in the enrollment announcement.
  3. Participate in all classes of the training course.
  4. Participate in class discussions and exchanges as required by instructors and the training course.
  5. Complete all practical exercises, tests, exams; to fully participate in field practice, internship activities as specified by the training course.

Responsibilities of the Centre:

  1. Advise on the construction and improvement of regulations for organizing and managing training programs.
  2. Develop schedules, implementation plans for courses, class schedules, assessments, evaluations according to the plan.
  3. Be responsible for managing, assigning instructors, and organizing training for instructors participating in the training program.
  4. Operate classes, and trainees according to assigned tasks.

Responsibilities of instructors:

  1. Develop lectures, exercises, and practical exercises ensuring full coverage of the teaching content of the assigned course, and ensuring teaching hours as assigned in the schedule.
  2. Guide trainees during field practice and internship.
  3. Participate in creating exams, test questions, and assessments.
  4. Answer trainee inquiries during the learning process, assessments, evaluate study results according to the Center’s regulations.
  5. Adhere to and fully implement the regulations of the Center’s training program.
